We have begun our largest rebuild project to date – rebuilding an entire home for an Ellicott City flood victim family.
We received a referral from One EC Recover Project for a family who was in desperate need of home repairs after multiple floods in Ellicott City. The technical home inspection revealed a cadre of repairs, some so extensive that it was just repairs would not be enough.
The family has lived in the home for over 30 years, and did not want to relocate. They raised their children in the home and have family living right down the street. After working with the family and the county, we were able to create a plan to tear down their existing structure and rebuild their town home.

The family has lived without heat or air conditioning since they have been in the home, with only a gas fireplace providing heat in the cold winter months. The home withstood multiple floods in Ellicott City, but the foundation damage was clear in their sinking kitchen floor. Our technical inspectors concluded a full-home rebuild was necessary.
Currently, we have demolished the structure and a new, stable foundation has been poured for the home. Follow along as we continue this exciting and life-changing project.
