The 5th Anniversary Columbia Home Tour was a remarkable achievement for all those involved. This annual home tour highlights the rich diversity of architectural styles, promoting Columbia’s history and lifestyle, while supporting the community by donating tour proceeds to a local charity.
The Home Tour Committee is proud to announce this year’s benefitting charity will receive the largest donation yet in the history of the Columbia Home Tour. On June 26, 2014 Brigitta Warren, Chair of the Columbia Home Tour, along with other committee members, presented Ann Heavner, Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Howard County, a check in the amount of $5,000.00.
“The Columbia Home Tour’s partnership with Rebuilding Together has helped to ensure the tour’s success,” notes Ms. Warren. “Working with their organization, has offered new perspectives and new opportunities.”
The Columbia Home Tour will be on hiatus until June 2017, when it will be reintroduced in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Columbia. Please visit our website, www.columbiahometour.org and ‘Like’ us on Facebook at Columbia Home Tour to remain informed about the 2017 tour details.
