Make a change and help us with ours! Rebuilding Together Howard County is seeking a volunteer Financial Accountant / CPA. We need an additional resource to develop the monthly reports and also to handle the financial forms for our grant applications and reports. We anticipate this person would volunteer 10-15 hours a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday) during the hours of 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Rebuilding Together Howard County is a community revitalization organization that provides critical housing rehab services for low income homeowners living in Howard County. We provide free home repairs, urgent repairs and handyman services to enable the homeowner to be safe, warm and dry. We have a thousand volunteers who do the work and also work with skilled trades (plumbers, HVAC, electrians and carpenters). We are celebrating our 26th year in Howard County and have repaired over 900 homes of low income homeowners to include disabled, veterans, families with small children and the elderly. Our repairs allow senior citizens to age in place. Most recently, we are working to restore the homes of flood victims in Ellicott City.
