We have partnered with DreamBuilders, an all-volunteer faith-based organization who help build and repair homes for those in need, to help rebuild the home of an Ellicott City flood victim. We are so lucky to have a group of dedicated, skilled volunteers to take on this lofty project.
The DreamBuilders team have been onsite working on the home in the past few months and have planned additional work days in November. The Ellicott City Historical Preservation Commission has also worked closely with us to ensure the repairs follow all commission guidelines. Some of the work the DreamBuilders team is tackling includes:
- Replacing all of windows in the home
- Repairing external walls and install all new siding
- Repairing all the gutters and downspouts
- Gutting the kitchen
- Installing new drywall, flooring, cabinets, appliances, and plumbing
